Micro.company builds a wide range of digital products — chatbots, e-commerce website builders, social commerce tools, website plugins, Shopify apps, and mobile apps — spanning multiple verticals and industries. Our mission is solving real problems for small and medium businesses. While we operate in a B2B space, many of our products carry a strong B2C angle too. We move fast, use the best tools available, and don't cut corners on quality.
THE ROLE
This is not a video editing job. This is a content creation and marketing hybrid role for someone who genuinely understands what makes people watch, click, and convert. You'll be a one-person content team — owning the full production pipeline from scripting to publishing, working closely with the founders on direction and strategy.
YouTube (Long-Form) — Screen-recorded walkthroughs and product breakdowns with voiceovers, sound design, and tight scripting. We use ElevenLabs for voiceovers and layer in sound effects to keep watch time high. Scripting is as important as the edit.
Social and Product (Short-Form) — Reels, Shorts, TikToks. Vertical format content for our products and brand. Each product has its own story — you'll need to tell it quickly and compellingly.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Script, edit, and publish long-form YouTube videos covering our products and the AI/no-code tools landscape
• Create short-form vertical content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) across multiple products and verticals
• Produce explainer videos for our product suite, tailored for SMB audiences who need clarity, not jargon
• Integrate AI tools into your workflow (ElevenLabs, scripting assistants, etc.) without sacrificing quality
• Work closely with founders on content direction, product storytelling, and campaign priorities
• Monitor performance, understand what's working, and double down on it
• Own the entire pipeline end-to-end — no hand-holding
WHO YOU ARE
• Marketer's instincts, creator's execution — you understand hooks, retention, CTAs, and narrative, not just cuts and transitions
• You've created content that has actually performed, and you know why it worked
• Comfortable with screen recording, voiceover-driven formats, and AI-assisted production pipelines
• You stay current on AI tools, no-code tools, and the digital product landscape
• Works well independently in a fast-paced async environment
• Not precious about iteration — speed and quality can coexist, and you know how to balance both
• Degrees and certifications don't matter to us. Your portfolio and your results do.
MUST-HAVES
• Proven track record creating YouTube and/or short-form social content that grew an audience or drove results
• Strong scripting ability — you can write for voiceover and structure a video that keeps people watching
• Proficiency in one or more of: Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted production workflows
• Understanding of platform mechanics across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok
• Portfolio showing range — at least one long-form and one short-form example
NICE TO HAVE
• Familiarity with ElevenLabs or similar AI voice tools
• Experience creating content in the AI tools, SaaS, or no-code space
• Background in digital marketing — especially for SMB, e-commerce, or conversion-focused products
This role is challenging. You'll be a team of one, working at pace across a diverse product portfolio. We hold the bar high on quality and expect creative and strategic thinking in everything you publish. If you're a standard video editor looking for a comfortable brief-to-delivery loop, this isn't the right fit.
