Terms of Service

By using The eCom Talent (the “Service”), operated by The eCom Show, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must provide accurate information about yourself and, if you are an employer, your company. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.

What the Service does

The Service is a platform that connects candidates and freelancers with employers in India's D2C and eCommerce ecosystem. We do not employ candidates, do not act as an agency, and are not a party to any employment, contractor, or freelance arrangement entered into between users.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post jobs or briefs that are misleading, illegal, or discriminatory
• Misrepresent your identity, employment history, or company
• Harass, abuse, or spam other users
• Scrape or copy substantial portions of the platform
• Attempt to circumvent the Service to avoid platform fees once introduced
• Use the Service to solicit users for unrelated products or schemes

Content you submit

You retain ownership of content you submit (profile, resume, job posts, briefs, messages). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and process that content as needed to operate the Service.

You are solely responsible for content you submit and for ensuring you have the right to share it.

AI trust verification

Employer accounts and job posts may be reviewed by automated systems for trust and quality signals. We may publish, hold for review, or reject content based on those signals. We aim to be fair but make no guarantee of accuracy.

Freelancer briefs and direct contact

When a freelancer accepts an employer's brief, the platform opens up direct communication and may share contact details between parties. Any commercial arrangement that follows is solely between the employer and the freelancer. The eCom Talent is not a party to that arrangement and does not handle payments or guarantee performance.

Privacy

Your use is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to other users.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that listings are accurate, that candidates will be hired, that freelancers will deliver, or that the Service will be free from interruptions or errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The eCom Show, its affiliates, and personnel are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ernakulam, Kerala, India.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
